Our intensive interview preparation days are designed to give students a comprehensive insight into Oxbridge-style interviews and prepare them to succeed in an interview setting.
As part of our Interview Preparation Day, our Oxbridge-graduate tutoring team visit your school or host an exclusive digital event for your pupils aimed at growing their confidence and abilities in the skills they will need for interviewing, as well as brushing up on their subject knowledge.
The Interview Preparation Day is a full-day intensive course consisting of interview practice, subject knowledge tutorials, and a talk from a former Oxbridge Admissions Tutor. The day also includes two mock interviews for each student, held by different tutors, complete with verbal and written feedback to give students a good idea of their current position, and how to focus their preparation going forward to maximise their potential.

How does the day work?

Morning

The Interview Preparation Day begins with a talk from a former Oxbridge admissions tutor to the students, giving them inspiration and the secrets of success as they see it, drawing from their experience on the other side of the interview.
Midday

Students then participate in a 90 minute skills session group with a tutor. These sessions are split into subject area groups, and are held by an Oxbridge-graduate expert tutor, giving the students the chance to ask any questions they may have as well as practice their skills in a group environment.
Afternoon

Lastly, students participate in two 30-minute mock interviews with two different tutors, after which they are provided with both verbal and written feedback. This gives students the chance to practice the skills they covered in the workshop in a realistic interview-style setting, as well as giving them tips and pointers for their preparation going forward.
