Making an application to Oxford and Cambridge, can be an especially daunting prospect
Our Aspiring to Oxbridge Talks are suitable for students from Years 10 to 12 and their parents. The talk covers all aspects of the application process, ending with a Q&A session to give all attendees the chance to ask any questions they may have.
On the day, Oxbridge Applications will provide:
A presentation led be a senior Oxbridge-graduate consultant, covering:
An overview of what sets Oxbridge apart from other UK universities
The importance of GCSEs to the admissions process
The impact of A-level or IB subject choices on course options
Early preparation methods, such as wider reading/research and work experience
The opportunity to ask individual questions about any aspect of the application
These talks are also fully customisable; our Schools team are happy to work with you to decide on the appropriate content and main focus of the session(s) before delivering them to your students.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Oxbridge workshop; it was extremely helpful to understand how much more work I should do. In particular, I would like to say thank you the tutor, for his excellent teaching. Overall, I thought it was well-organized and provided a great opportunity to learn from experienced tutors. Thank you for organizing such a fantastic workshop.

“Thank you so much for the interview day today. The students were nervous (which is normal) but they all commented on just how interesting and stimulating the interviews were. They all commented on the professionalism of the tutors, and they all learned a lot from the experience. They will certainly be more confident and prepared for any Oxbridge interviews that they might face in the future. Thank you again for a wonderful event!! We look forward to working with you again in the future!"

I just wanted to let you know the wonderful news that [student] has received an offer! I have no doubt that the two interviews with you played a massively vital role in securing this offer and wish to offer my most profound gratitude. Your patient and kindly approach really settled his nerves and he performed superbly well in his interviews with Cambridge. A huge "thank you" to Alison and Alicia for all of your help.

“Thank you again - from my point of view, the remote interviews worked really well. It was good to have access to a larger number of tutors, to give all the pupils two interviews, and for me to be able to drop in on them too. I was particularly impressed with Alison's interviewing! Really helpful!

“I have used Oxbridge Applications with many students over the years and have found them to be excellent. They have contributed to innovations in our Oxbridge support which has seen our Oxbridge offers at Surbiton High triple in recent years when most independent schools are seeing their offers go in the opposite direction. I am happy to use their services year after year."
