Luke graduated from Cambridge in 2013, specialising in Aerospace & Aerothermal Engineering (with Economics), and holds MA and MEng degrees . Throughout his time at Cambridge, Luke was an Undergraduate Scholar of the Institutions of Civil and Mechanical Engineers, as well as the Society for Underwater Technology. This diverse range of interests was reflected in his being awarded prize money for first class results in papers as varied as 'Thermofluid Mechanics' and 'Partial Differential Equations & Variational Methods', and he also won the Engineering department's IA Structural Design Prize for his design of a load-bearing cantilever. In his spare time, Luke is a keen racquet sport enthusiast, having served as captain of the Cambridge University Lawn Tennis Club Collegiate team. Luke's academic career at Cambridge culminated in developing the equations to describe a novel whistling mechanism for his Masters research project, and he is currently working on the patent to protect the mechanism. Luke has worked with Oxbridge Applications for over 8 years, and has successfully supported many applicants to Oxbridge to read STEM subjects.
