The Eurozone is all of a jitter with it looking increasingly likely that Greece will leave the Euro. The repurcussions of leaving the single currency are huge – and there is no precedent, nor any manual entitled ‘How to Leave the Euro without Destroying your Economy and the Political Dreams of  a Continent’ buried deep within the mountains of paperwork in Burssels (the Eurocrats who devised the process of entering the single currency never built an escape route – because they never thought anyone would want to leave!) Speculation is rife as to how and when the split will happen – and what the effect will be on the Greek people, the rest of Europe and the world economy.  The BBC’s Analysis programme from Sunday 20th May explores how the crisis could unfold: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01bwm1h/Analysis_Preparing_for_Eurogeddon/ This is fascinating listening – especially as this historic and devastating moment could happen any day now…
